Ampeg

Ampeg is an American amplification brand particularly associated with bass guitar. Its range includes bass amp heads, speaker cabinets, effects pedals, preamps and accessories such as footswitches and cabinet covers. The brand is widely known for its SVT amplifiers and Portaflex designs, both established names in bass amplification.

Ampeg's equipment spans compact practice systems through to high-powered heads and larger cabinets for live performance. Products listed on MyGear include the Classic Micro-CL Stack, SVT-210AV cabinet, Heritage SVT-410HLF cabinet and Venture series heads and cabinets. The Venture V3 and V12 provide examples of its contemporary bass-head range alongside products carrying the longstanding SVT name.

MyGear currently lists 36 Ampeg products in stock at partner retailers, priced from £43 to £1,529. This selection stretches from parts, covers and other accessories to substantial amplification equipment, rather than representing amplifier prices alone. Its breadth places Ampeg across practice, recording and stage applications, with options at several price levels.
