DOD

DOD is an American effects brand founded in 1973, best known for stompboxes for guitar and bass. Its range includes overdrive, delay, phaser and envelope-filter pedals, alongside volume and expression controls. Products such as the Meatbox Subharmonic Synthesizer extend its catalogue into synthesis-based effects rather than conventional keyboard synthesizers.

Established DOD designs include the Overdrive Preamp 250, Phasor 201 and Envelope Filter 440. These illustrate the brand’s longstanding focus on compact pedals for drive, modulation and filtering. The Mini Volume and Mini Expression serve a different role, providing foot-operated control within an instrument setup.

The 13 DOD products currently in stock at MyGear’s partner retailers range from £80 to £249, placing the available selection across accessible and mid-priced pedal territory. Listings span guitar effects, preamps and channel strips, and synthesizers, although compact floor pedals are the brand’s principal format.
