Sequential

Sequential is an American synthesizer brand whose range includes polyphonic keyboards, desktop modules and monophonic instruments. Its products combine analogue synthesis with digital control, patch storage and, on some models, digital sound-generation elements.

Originally known as Sequential Circuits, the brand is closely associated with synthesizer designer Dave Smith and the Prophet-5, introduced in 1978. The Prophet-5 became a landmark programmable polyphonic analogue synthesizer. Current instruments include the Prophet-5 and Prophet-10, alongside the Prophet Rev2, OB-6, Trigon-6, Take 5 and Pro 3 families.

On MyGear, Sequential has 18 products in stock at partner retailers, with listed prices ranging from €700 to €4518. This places the available range largely in the specialist mid-to-premium synthesizer market, spanning compact desktop instruments through to higher-priced polyphonic keyboards. The brand is particularly known for programmable analogue polyphony and hands-on sound-shaping controls.
