Soundtoys

Soundtoys is a US developer of audio effects plug-ins for music production, mixing and sound design. Its range covers delay, reverb, modulation, filtering, pitch shifting and saturation, with individual effects and collections for use in digital audio workstations.

The brand is known for software that draws on analogue studio equipment and early digital effects, alongside more experimental processors. EchoBoy provides a range of delay styles, while Crystallizer combines pitch shifting with granular echo processing. Other products include the PhaseMistress phaser, FilterFreak filters, MicroShift pitch-based widening effect and SuperPlate plate reverb.

MyGear currently lists 17 Soundtoys products in stock at partner retailers, priced from £75 to £489. This places its listed range in the paid specialist audio-software market, spanning individual processors and broader effects collections rather than recording hardware.
