The Attack 12" ThinSkin2 2Ply Medium Thin Clear Drum Head is suited to drummers who want durability with open expressive tone. Built from a unique mix of 5mil and 7mil Dynaflex film it responds differently to standard two-ply heads. You get the strength you need for regular playing but with a little extra sing in the sustain and a more melodic feel under the stick. Its medium thin construction helps create that slightly wetter funk-inspired character making it a solid choice for groove-focused styles. And thanks to Attacks pressure-fitted steel hoop the head stays secure under tension while the added mass helps extend sustain and tighten up tonal focus. Made using Dynaflex polyester film with models in the range featuring the brands USA-made Duracoat coating the ThinSkin2 series reflects Attacks straightforward approach: quality materials thoughtful design and reliable sound. If you need a head that holds up to regular use but still lets your drum breathe this one keeps things balanced and musical.
