A worthy addition to any microphone locker. The Audix D2 High Gain Percussion Dynamic Microphone is an excellent choice when it comes to recording percussion. Djembes bongos timpanis toms. You name it the D2 is able to capture it with absolute conviction. Its tailored frequency and transient responses allow your instrument to cut through the densest of mixes and be heard with absolute clarity. This means you can spend less time fixing and more time mixing! Working in demanding environments? No problem. Thanks to the D2s hyper-cardioid polar pattern youll be guaranteed optimised captures of any source for highly usable results every time. Even if youre capturing multiple musicians in the studio simultaneously. The exceptional off-axis rejection the microphone provides eliminates problematic issues such as bleed preventing it from compromising the quality of your recordings.
