Besson Sovereign BE929G Cornet Silver Plated

Available from Gear4Music at 4.374,44 €.

The Besson Sovereign BE929G Cornet is designed for committed brass band players seeking responsive control and a blended sound. Building on the BE928G this updated Sovereign introduces practical changes to its ergonomics and airflow while retaining the gold brass bell and British-designed 928 gold brass leadpipe. Revised one-piece levers for the 1st and 3rd slides give you a cleaner more comfortable control layout while reversed 1st and 3rd tuning slides are designed to improve airflow and feel across the register. The finger hook has also been reshaped with comfort and balance in mind. Further refinements include an angled 2nd valve knuckle for improved playing response and easier moisture removal alongside revised water key and cradle weight distribution for greater stability. The result keeps the rich open character and controlled resistance associated with the Sovereign design while making everyday playing feel more considered.
