The Cherry Audio Yellowjacket is a synthesizer plugin serving as a tribute to the Wasp originally developed by British company EDP in 1978. The Cherry Audio Yellowjacket is built for producers and synth enthusiasts who want the character of vintage gear with the flexibility of modern features. Based on the iconic 1978 EDP Wasp this plugin captures the raw buzzy hybrid tone of the original while adding expanded creative tools. Its advanced arpeggiator includes probability and humanise controls for more natural rhythmic variation while multi-voice modes unlock layered textures chord triggering and stereo movement. Encompassing a virtual pressure-sensitive keyboard Yellowjacket supports polyphonic aftertouch for dynamic expressive play and the built-in speaker emulation brings a gritty charm to your sound. With over 270 presets curated by industry veterans Yellowjacket delivers instant inspiration for producers looking to break away from typical soft synth tones.
