DW Moon Mic System Chrome

Available from Gear4Music at 965,44 €.

The DW Moon Mic System in Chrome is not another bass drum mic - its a tonal spectrum completion mic. Built by hand a patented curved housing not only makes it look unique but also makes it extremely practical in live and studio situations. Its DK-27 microphone has an impressive signal to noise ratio used by artists such as Thomas Lang (Robbie Williams Paul Gilbert) in their home studios for kick drums or ambience. Its Dynamic 8 Membrane and custom passive filter has a frequency range of 20-15000Hz - a broad spectrum that helps fill out tonal characteristics missed by other bass microphones and fills them in naturally. Its cardioid characteristics mean it captures the sound in front of it and ignores any reflections from behind - important for studio use. Not purely for sub-frequencies this microphone can help you pull out that ever-elusive perfect kick tone.
