Gewa Tourte Violin Mute

Available from Gear4Music at 1,60 €.

Always have your mute to hand. With the Gewa Tourte violin mute your lightweight rubber mute can remain attached to your strings when youre not using it. It sits behind your bridge without disturbing your normal playing at all then is quick and simple to slide onto your bridge and play con sordini. Never worry about being without your mute at a crucial moment. Give your violin a sweet soft tone. The Tourte mute will dampen the vibration of your bridge creating a muted delicate tone to really build an atmosphere. Particularly as part of a string section this effect is dramatic and impressive. With this mute youll always be able to add to this sound.
