Available from Gear4Music at 136,41 €.

The Gibson ELEV8 Underwound Rhythm Pickup brings the power of Gibsons modern ELEV8 family to a more open vintage-inspired neck-position design. Its Alnico 8 magnet represents a first for Gibson pickups combining impressive authority and responsiveness with the articulation needed to keep individual notes clearly defined. The Underwound model has an average DC resistance of 8k providing a complementary voice designed to pair perfectly with a standard ELEV8 bridge pickup. This combination lets you balance vintage-influenced openness at the neck with the focused power of the standard ELEV8 at the bridge. Custom-gauge wire works alongside the Alnico 8 magnet to produce a controlled low end clear note separation and expressive dynamic response. That definition remains intact under gain making the ELEV8 Underwound equally capable of handling detailed gorgeous classic rock tones and modern playing styles. Four-conductor wiring opens the door to coil splitting and more advanced switching arrangements extending the available sounds beyond conventional humbucking operation. Wax potting helps control unwanted noise while zebra bobbins give the pickup a classic contrasting appearance. Its a flexible neck humbucker that combines Gibson heritage with a distinctly modern approach to pickup performance.
