The Ludwig 14 x 5 Bronze Phonic Raw Shell Tube Lugs is a snare drum that embodies the legendary Ludwig Phonic design principles. With its 1.2mm seamless bronze shell and 3mm steel triple-flanged hoops this snare drum delivers a powerful and projecting sound that is unmatched. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail the Bronze Phonic snare drum offers exceptional tonal characteristics. The use of bronze alloy in the shell construction ensures a perfect balance of warmth and mid-range crispiness reminiscent of wooden drums with the presence of a brass drum. Featuring the P88AC throw-off and P35P butt plate this snare drum is both durable and reliable allowing for smooth and precise snare wire adjustments. With its 10 lugs the Bronze Phonic snare drum provides even tension across the drumhead resulting in a consistent and controlled sound.
