The Ludwig LB417KT 14" x 6.5" Hammered Black Beauty Snare Drum Tube Lugs is an updated version to one of Ludwigs legendary snares - the Black Beauty features a hammered brass shell with nickel plating a black chrome finish and durable chrome hardware; it is a visual spectacle. The brass offers warm metallic tones and responds with superior sensitivity. This lends itself to a wide variety of genres and styles where it sits musically and purposefully. The Ludwig LB417KT Black Beauty Snare Drum has tube lugs instead of the classic Ludwig Imperial lugs. These tube lugs give the snare a more vintage design complimenting the visually impressive shell. Paired with triple-flanged hoops this snare is able to find adjust and reliably hold a range of tunings for any scenario. A great snare drum that can give a drummer a lifetime of musicality.
