The Meinl Percussion Artist Series Patricio "El Chino" Diaz Signature Timbales are built for professional Afro-Cuban players needing tonal depth projection and reliability. Developed with Patricio El Chino D az this 14" and 15" timbale set uses bronze shells to produce a warm resonant sound that carries clearly on stage and records with definition in the studio. The shell material adds body to rimshots and open tones while still delivering the crisp cascara response expected in traditional settings.Clear synthetic heads offer consistent response and durability with the logo placed underneath for a clean look. Chrome-plated hardware keeps everything secure and precise during performance. You also get a professional timbale stand adjustable cowbell holder accessory pouch tuning key and tuning oil so the set is ready for rehearsals gigs and touring straight out of the box.
