Ortofon SH-2 Standard Headshell (Universal) Black

Available from Gear4Music at 29,34 €.

The Ortofon SH-2 Standard Universal Headshell is ideal for vinyl listeners upgrading a turntable setup or building a new one with precise stable analogue playback in mind. Designed for ease of use it suits a wide range of turntables using an S-shaped or J-shaped tonearm with a standard SME bayonet mount. This makes it a highly flexible choice for different audio systems cutting out compatibility concerns and setup stress. Its body is made from a glass fibre-reinforced co-polymer which helps reduce unwanted vibrations while keeping things lightweight. This ensures your records sound the way they should without added noise or distortion. The raised fingerlift matches the shape of Ortofons Concorde cartridges giving you better control and a cleaner look across your gear. Gold-plated and colour-coded leadwires are premounted to streamline installation and preserve sound quality. With a non-conductive structure it also helps avoid ground loop issues keeping your playback smooth and consistent. It is a solid reliable headshell that makes vinyl playback more stable and enjoyable across a wide range of systems.
