Available from Gear4Music at 73,02 €.

The Pirastro Obligato Solo Double Bass E String combines a classic sound with enhanced playability. The synthetic gut core produces tonally rich notes with clarity in the high frequencies. Due to its solo tuning this string has a slightly lighter tension for increased expression. This model has a chrome steel winding for a consistent feel that is resistant to humidity and temperature change. This Obligato string has a ball end and is designed for 3/4 size double basses with a solo tuning.
