The Premier Artist 12? x 6? Birch Snare Drum offers a balanced sound with a deeper fuller tone and more resonance than smaller snares thanks to its larger diameter and depth. It delivers a sharp punchy attack with moderate sustain making it versatile for both live and studio use where a robust snare presence is needed. The 7.5mm 6-ply birch shell delivers a balanced focused sound with richness and fullness in tone resonance and durability while providing a bright punchy tone with quick attack good projection and shorter sustain making it ideal for cutting through mixes. The 20-strand snare wire offers a balanced sound that combines crisp snare response with the natural tone of the drum. 1.5mm triple-flange drum hoops offer a more open and resonant sound that gives the drum a more natural expressive sound.
