The Premier NXT GEN Chime Mallet is a hard mallet designed for orchestral and ensemble percussionists. Its double-sided laminated silicon head lets you quickly switch playing surfaces during rehearsals and performances while additional self-adhesive cork and rubber faces give you further options for changing the mallets hardness and exploring different sounds.A natural hickory handle provides a comfortable balanced and reliable playing feel particularly when louder playing is required. Measuring 310mm long and 30mm in diameter the ergonomic handle gives you a substantial grip for controlled strikes. With multiple playing surfaces available in one setup this mallet is a practical addition to your collection when different passages call for changes in hardness and response.
