Protec Leather Valve Guard for Cornet

Available from Gear4Music at 15,29 €.

The Protec Leather Valve Guard is a leather grip for your cornet. Protecting the finish of your horn is very important as the oils and acids in your hands can be corrosive to it. Having a secure grip is also vital. This is where products like the Protec Valve Guard come in. The grip is designed to fit around the valves of your cornet where most of the skin contact happens between you and your horn. You will be saved expensive trips to your local brass shop for repairs to the finish with this valve guard. The grip is made of leather and has an non-porous centre layer which prevents dirt and oils from penetrating through. The leather makes this very comfortable vastly increasing the comfort you will experience when playing long sessions. The soft velvet backside further protects the instruments finish from being scratched or damaged. The grip is very simple to install with just a hook and loop fastening closure around your horns valves.
