PRS HDRX 50 Hendrix Guitar Head Black Tolex

Available from Gear4Music at 2.061,40 €.

The PRS 50 Hendrix Guitar Head is a meticulous tribute to the vintage voice of Hendrix era amplifiers packed full of tonal force and finesse. PRS have gone to enormous lengths to study and capture the sound of Hendrixs unique circuit and amps from the period and have distilled it down into one box that brims with sonic power. This is a USA made piece of refined rock precision suited up in an elegant chic casing. This full output amp will really push the high-end making it clear without harshness. Aggressive crunch can smoothly be dialled back to sweet silky tones in a heartbeat. The best pre-amps available provide the energy of the HX50 while a 100-watt power supply provides a punch that makes it sound much closer to a 100-watt amplifier than a typical 50-watt. All these top-quality components result in whisper quiet hum and interference so little its barely audible even with all volume controls set to max. The PRS HDRX 50 stands above the rest for its modern approach to a defined vintage tone.
