Featuring 2 plies of 7.5-mil film the Vintage Emperor heads are the strongest and most durable 2-ply heads on the market that also reduce overtones and sustain compared to single ply. With Remos infused coating technology the finish adds a more subtle attack. Still with great projection in live scenarios these heads provide the perfect tonal profile to fill in the gaps between your snare and kick.A soft under-stick feel and pronounced tone is thanks to Remos Free-Floating Bending Technology letting the two plied resonate together providing more tone and sustain that other 2-ply heads; this is where the vintage tone comes from.
