The Roy Benson Charli Green Signature Bb Trumpet is a great instrument for students of the trumpet who are looking for a trumpet with some unique character. The medium-large bore allows for great projection with not too much breath needed an excellent trait for players who want to project well with less effort. The yellow brass bell and leadpipe create a bright tone that is often associated with trumpets. Nickel silver outer slides are resistant to corrosion and add sonority to the timbre. To add some personality there are gold plated touches all over the instrument. The Charli Green Signature Trumpet features a reversed leadpipe which provides a bit more resistance when blowing into the instrument - a feature often preferred by players for the tactility when playing. The more open bell throat than other models of trumpet results in a darker and richer tone.
