Boasting a hand-carved body from finely figured tonewoods the Stentor Elysia viola is the ideal choice for advancing students. What really makes the Elysia viola stand out is how its made. Handcrafted by one highly skilled craftsman each Elysia is a unique instrument that reflects the individuality of its master. Once finished the Elysia viola is finished in a gorgeous shellac varnish. Just like violas that cost ten times the price the Elysia has full Ebony fittings. Not only will these be more comfortable for you but the Ebony will also be durable and hardwearing. To complete the Elysia its strung with Pirastro Tonica strings which offer a lovely tone. Please note: due to the bespoke nature of this instrument the grain of the wood will vary and this may be supplied as a one-piece or two-piece back depending on availability.
