The Tascam CA-XLR2d XLR Microphone Adapter for Mirrorless Nikon Cameras is designed for filmmakers content creators and videographers who want to record clear professional sound directly into the camera. It connects via the cameras accessory shoe transferring digital audio without an extra cable or conversion step. Two combination XLR/TRS inputs and a 3.5 mm mini jack provide connection for dynamic condenser and lavalier microphones. Each input is supported by Tascams HDDA mic preamps for low noise and wide dynamic range. The adapter can draw power directly from the camera or run on AA batteries when used in analog mode. It includes practical controls for gain low-cut filtering and limiting plus a protective cover that keeps settings secure during filming. With its flexible setup and premium build it brings broadcast-grade recording to compact mirrorless systems.
