Available from Gear4Music at 91,13 €.

The Thomastik Peter Infeld Orchestra Double Bass E String 3/4 is suited to players who want a reliable full-bodied foundation for their setup. Its built around a centred tonal core giving you a clear and controlled low register that holds up well in orchestral sections and still speaks easily for pizzicato work. Its spiral rope core and chrome winding help you move between bow strokes and plucked notes smoothly keeping the feel flexible while maintaining projection and sustain. The Thomastik Peter Infield Double bass E string also carries a tension of 30.5 kg offering a reassuringly stable response under the fingers. If you want an E string that feels consistent across rehearsals and performances this one provides a strong reliable low end without unnecessary fuss.
