The Thomastik Rondo Viola A String brings an incredibly rich and powerful character to your instrument. A carbon-steel core combined with a chrome-wound exterior grants a fantastically warm sound foundation across the range of the string. Thanks to the brilliant overtones present when this string is vibrated it harmonises beautifully with your D-string for rich and powerful double-stops. Thomastiks Rondo range of strings has been designed specifically for advanced and sophisticated violists. Manufactured to a discerning standard in Austria they deliver a highly expressive dynamic range with rich projection and a balanced overall tone. Youll find a particularly strong focus and tonal intensity with these strings resulting in a refined and mature character in the sound. Rondo strings are ideal for soloists and work particularly well on older vintage instruments.
