The Thomastik Rondo Violin A String Chrome Wound is a perfect alternative for violin players who prefer a steel-core A-string. A carbon-steel core combined with a chrome-wound exterior grants exceptional tuning stability and a gloriously silky tone. The added high-frequency content will push your entire string set to sound slightly more brilliant. If youre looking for a warmer-sounding A-string check out Thomastiks Rondo aluminium-wound A-string. Thomastiks Rondo range of strings has been designed specifically for advanced and sophisticated violinists. Manufactured to a discerning standard in Austria they deliver a highly expressive dynamic range with rich projection and a balanced overall tone. Youll find a particularly strong focus and tonal intensity with these strings resulting in a refined and mature character in the sound. Rondo strings are ideal for soloists and work particularly well on older vintage instruments.
