Available from Gear4Music at 84,67 €.

The Yamaha Keiko Abe Signature MKA-05 Yarn Wound Mallets are ideal for experienced marimba players who want clarity and control across a wide dynamic range. Designed in collaboration with Keiko Abe these mallets are medium hard making them perfect for both lyrical and rhythmically complex works. The yarn head offers a full balanced tone thats bright enough for projection yet warm enough for expressive phrasing. The heavier head design encourages full resonance from each tone bar while the 430mm rattan shaft delivers natural rebound and flexibility for smooth transitions between strokes. These mallets strike a balance between power and finesse giving you precision in articulation without sacrificing tonal warmth. Whether youre performing solo repertoire or ensemble pieces the MKA-05 mallets provide the reliability and responsiveness needed for professional performance.
