The Yamaha Keiko Abe Signature MKA-06 Yarn Wound Mallets are ideal for advanced marimba players who want warmth clarity and control in their sound. Created with Keiko Abe these mallets feature a medium-soft design that brings out the instruments lower tones while maintaining precise articulation. The yarn head produces a full-bodied tone that blends beautifully in ensemble settings and supports expressive solo playing. Each mallet includes a 430mm rattan shaft for a natural feel and flexible handling helping you play with sensitivity and control during soft passages or dynamic crescendos. With their carefully balanced weight and responsive touch the MKA-06 mallets allow players to explore the full tonal range of the marimba with depth and nuance.
