The Yamaha Keiko Abe Signature MKAW-02 Yarn Wound Mallets Very Hard are crafted for players seeking precision and intensity in their marimba sound. Designed in close collaboration with Keiko Abe these mallets feature a very hard yarn head with added weight to produce a strong defined tone that projects easily across large spaces. The shorter birch sticks provide control for intricate passages making them ideal for advanced repertoire requiring both speed and clarity. Each mallet is meticulously balanced to draw out the marimbas full resonance while maintaining comfort and responsiveness. Perfect for solo or ensemble performances the MKAW-02 model ensures every note speaks clearly even in technically demanding pieces.
