Available from Gear4Music at 83,49 €.

The Yamaha Keiko Abe Signature MKAW-05 Yarn Wound Mallets Medium Hard are designed for marimbists seeking an adaptable tone that blends warmth with projection. Featuring a yarn-wound head these mallets produce a balanced sound suitable for both lyrical passages and articulate rhythmic work. The long birch shafts (430mm) offer excellent reach and control supporting smooth technique and comfort during extended performances. Their slightly heavier build enhances the marimbas natural resonance allowing each note to speak clearly with depth and sustain. Created in collaboration with Keiko Abe these mallets combine precision craftsmanship with expressive versatility. This makes them an ideal choice for advanced players performing solo ensemble or contemporary repertoire.
