Yamaha Keiko Abe Signature MKAW-S7 Yarn Wound Mallets Very Soft

Available from Gear4Music at 83,49 €.

The Yamaha Keiko Abe Signature MKAW-S7 Yarn Wound Mallets are designed for experienced marimba players who need subtlety and control when performing expressive low-register passages. Crafted in collaboration with Keiko Abe these very soft mallets feature a round yarn-wound head and a dual-core wrapped in rubber tubing. This structure increases sensitivity giving you precise control over dynamics and articulation ideal for pieces that demand emotional depth and resonance. The birch stick is slightly longer than standard models ensures a comfortable grip and greater reach across the keyboard. Its careful balance allows natural flexibility in the wrist helping you maintain an even tone through soft playing. These mallets are particularly suited to works from Abes own repertoire as well as any marimba performance that calls for warmth clarity and expressive nuance.
