Start with professional quality. Featuring a body crafted from select grenadilla wood the Yamaha YCL457 has an excellent tone perfect for players who are progressing past the grade 5 standard. Featuring a bell shape and barrel design similar to Yamahas professional series the YCL457 has very professional sound with a natural response. The adjustable thumb-rest can accommodate almost all hand sizes. This is a great advantage for student players as it enables them to comfortably develop a proper technique. For an added touch of luxury the YCL457 features silver-plated nickel silver keys. Included with the clarinet is a lightweight carry case and a Yamaha M3D mouthpiece so you can start practising straight away. Please note that wooden instruments are affected by humidity and temperature and as a result the wood may expand and contract which would affect joints such as the tenons and bell rings.
