Olivia Dean is an English singer-songwriter from London. She trained at the BRIT School and toured as a backing singer before going solo. Her debut album Messy (2023) was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize. Its follow-up, The Art of Loving (2025), turned her into a global star: "Man I Need" and "So Easy (to Fall in Love)" both ranked among the most-consumed songs in the US in the first half of 2026. Her warm, soulful sound draws on classic soul, neo-soul, jazz and pop, sung in a rich, conversational voice. She writes on guitar and keys, and performs with a live band built around vintage-sounding keyboards, horns and tight rhythm sections.
