Blackstar

Blackstar is a British music-equipment brand best known for guitar amplifiers and speaker cabinets. Its range includes valve amplifiers, digital modelling combos, compact practice amps and bass amplification, alongside floor-based guitar processors and audio interfaces.

The brand spans entry-level practice equipment through to higher-priced recording and stage setups. Products currently stocked by MyGear’s partner retailers range from €30 to €2,299, covering compact units such as the Fly 3 Bass and ID:Core combos, larger amplifiers and cabinets, and recording equipment such as the Polar 4 audio interface. Cases, bags, parts and spares also feature in the listed range.

Blackstar is associated with its HT valve-amplifier series, ID:Core digital combos and Fly mini amplifiers. A recurring feature on many of its guitar amplifiers is the patented ISF, or Infinite Shape Feature, which adjusts the tone-control response between characteristics associated with American and British amplifier sounds.
