Boom Library

BOOM Library is a German producer of sound-effects libraries and audio software. Its catalogue covers cinematic effects, environmental recordings, animals, crowds and other material used in sound design for film, television, games and music production.

The brand is known for themed collections and its distinction between Construction Kit and Designed libraries. Construction Kits provide source recordings for building and layering effects, while Designed collections contain processed, assembled sounds. Titles such as Destruction, Creatures, Medieval Weapons and Cinematic Trailers reflect its focus on effects-led production; Seasons of Earth, Town & Country and Crowds Concert Audiences cover environmental and audience recordings.

MyGear currently lists 148 BOOM Library products in stock at partner retailers, priced from £61 to £1,621. This spans individual libraries and software tools through to larger bundles, placing the catalogue in the specialist sound-design and professional production market rather than the musical-instrument hardware market.
