DPA Microphones

DPA Microphones is a Danish manufacturer of professional condenser microphones and microphone accessories. Founded in 1992, the company makes instrument, vocal, miniature, headset and lavalier microphones for recording, live performance, theatre and broadcast work. It is known for compact microphone designs and its focus on accurate sound capture.

Its range includes the 4099 instrument microphone family, with mounting options for instruments such as violin, bass and brass, and the 2028 supercardioid vocal microphone. Clips, shock mounts and adapters form an important part of the range, supporting instrument placement and connection to wireless systems. Products listed on MyGear include CORE+ 4099 variants, the GSM4000 gooseneck shock mount and the DAD9034 wireless system adapter.

DPA sits in the professional microphone market. The 19 products currently in stock at MyGear partner retailers span £23 to £1,072, covering lower-priced mounting and connection accessories alongside higher-priced microphones. This price spread reflects the mix of accessories and complete microphones rather than a single tier of comparable products.
