Fortin

Fortin is a guitar amplification and effects brand known for high-gain amplifiers, distortion and overdrive pedals, boosts and noise gates. Its range also includes utility devices for guitar rigs, such as the Artery splitter/buffer pedal and Hydra MIDI pedal controller.

The brand has a documented association with Meshuggah through products including the Meshuggah Signature Pre-Amp Distortion and the 33 Fredrik Thordendal Signature Boost. Other products include the Kali and NATAS high-gain preamp distortion pedals, Fourteen Overdrive, Fortin Fuzz and Zuul noise gates. These reflect a particular emphasis on distortion, gain shaping and noise control.

The selection currently stocked by MyGear’s partner retailers comprises 12 products priced from £149 to £379, listed across guitar effect pedals and preamps & channel strips. This places the available selection in the mid-priced to premium pedal market, encompassing both sound-shaping effects and dedicated rig-control tools rather than entry-level multi-effects units.
