Genelec

Genelec is a Finnish loudspeaker manufacturer founded in 1978. It specialises in active studio monitors, with amplification built into the loudspeaker, and also makes systems for professional audio installations. The brand is known for its focus on accurate monitoring and for its Smart Active Monitor (SAM) range, which supports room calibration through Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) software.

Its studio range includes compact models such as the 8010A and 8020D, the larger 8050B, and SAM models including the 8320A and 8330A. The 8341A belongs to The Ones series, a family of three-way coaxial studio monitors designed for professional monitoring applications.

MyGear currently lists 51 Genelec products in stock at partner retailers across its studio monitor and PA speaker categories, with listed prices ranging from €31 to €4,496. This catalogue spans lower-priced items through to high-cost professional monitors; the range should not be read as the price span of complete speaker systems. Genelec sits primarily in the professional monitoring market, serving music production, recording and other critical-listening settings.
