Music Man

Music Man is an American brand of electric guitars and basses, particularly associated with the StingRay bass. Introduced in 1976, the StingRay became known for its active electronics and distinctive humbucking pickup. The brand has been owned by Ernie Ball since 1984.

Its instrument range includes four- and five-string basses, fretless models and electric guitars. The StingRay remains a central part of the catalogue, with versions including the StingRay Special and Retro ’70s. Other bass offerings include the DarkRay, which incorporates onboard drive effects.
