MXR

MXR is an American effects brand founded in 1972 in Rochester, New York, and now part of Dunlop Manufacturing. Its range centres on guitar and bass effects pedals, alongside pedal-format preamps and patch cables for connecting pedalboard equipment.

The brand is known for compact stompboxes including the Phase 90 phaser, Dyna Comp compressor and Distortion+. Its catalogue spans compression, distortion, overdrive, modulation and octave effects, with dedicated bass models such as the M288 Bass Octave Deluxe and Bass Preamp. Documented users include David Gilmour, James Hetfield and Tom Morello.

Across MyGear’s partner retailers, 82 MXR products are currently in stock, priced from €7 to €339.
