Porter & Davies

Porter & Davies is a British brand specialising in tactile monitoring for drummers. Its systems transmit vibrations through a drum throne, allowing the player to feel an audio signal through the seat rather than relying solely on audible monitoring. Its range includes the BC2, rackmount BC2RM and BC Gigster systems.

The brand is known for its throne-based approach to monitoring, with round and saddle seat options available across its systems. Related products include protective throne cases and replacement parts, supporting both the monitoring equipment and its use as part of a drum setup.

On MyGear, Porter & Davies products span drum hardware, cases and bags, and parts and spares. Current partner-retailer prices range from £175 to £1,649 across 29 in-stock products. This places the range in a specialist segment of the drum-hardware market, with accessories at lower prices and complete tactile monitoring packages representing a more substantial investment.
