Protec

Protec is an American brand specialising in protective cases, bags and accessories for musical instruments and equipment. Its range includes cases for woodwind and brass instruments, percussion bags, mouthpiece pouches, saxophone straps and storage accessories.

The brand is known for instrument-specific carrying solutions, including its Pro Pac cases. Examples include the PB307 Slimline Clarinet Pro Pac Case and PB315 Pro Pac Oboe Case. Other products include double clarinet cases, French horn mute bags with modular dividers, wheeled tom bags and adjustable audio recorder cases.

At MyGear’s partner retailers, Protec has 161 products in stock, priced from £5 to £409. This spans inexpensive small accessories through to higher-priced instrument cases and larger transport bags. Its presence across saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba and horn categories centres on carrying, protection and accessory storage rather than the instruments themselves.
