Puresound

PureSound is a snare-wire brand within the D’Addario family, specialising in replacement wires for snare drums. Its ranges include Custom, Custom Pro, Blaster and Equalizer, with models available in different lengths and strand counts to suit a variety of snare drums.

The brand is known for its focus on snare-wire design. Its Equalizer series uses a gap between two groups of wire strands rather than a continuous bank, while the wider catalogue includes configurations for smaller snares as well as common 14-inch drums. The products listed on MyGear include 12-, 16- and 20-strand examples across several ranges.

MyGear currently lists 39 PureSound products in stock at partner retailers, priced from £10 to £66. This places the listed range in the replacement-component and accessory market rather than complete instruments. Listings appear under Parts & spares and Stands, with the popular products concentrated on replacement snare wires.
