Solid State Logic

Solid State Logic (SSL) is a British manufacturer of professional audio equipment, founded in 1969. Its range includes analogue and digital mixing consoles, audio interfaces, preamps, channel strips, outboard processors and software plug-ins for music production and broadcast applications.

The brand is particularly associated with large-format studio consoles, including the SL 4000 series, and with console channel processing and bus compression. These remain central to its identity, alongside smaller studio devices and software processors that bring SSL processing into computer-based recording and mixing setups.

On MyGear, Solid State Logic has 77 products currently in stock at partner retailers, priced from €9 to €2,385. This selection spans lower-cost software and compact recording tools through to more expensive studio hardware, rather than representing the full cost range of its professional consoles. Listed products include the SSL ALPHA 8 AD/DA converter, SSL Fusion Vintage Drive and SSL G3 Multi Bus Compressor.
