Waldorf

Waldorf is a German manufacturer of hardware synthesisers and software instruments. The brand is known for wavetable synthesis, with instruments that draw on the synthesis approach associated with PPG as well as its own synthesiser designs.

Its software range includes Largo, the Blofeld Plugin, the Streichfett Plugin and PPG Wave 3.V, alongside the Lector vocoder and the Waldorf Edition bundle. These products cover several areas of electronic sound production, including wavetable synthesis, string-machine sounds and vocoding.
