British Drum Co. Big Softy 14 x 6.5 Balsa & Cherry Snare Drum

Available from Gear4Music at €669.10.

The British Drum Co. Big Softy 14 x 6.5 Snare Drum is built for drummers needing warm controlled tones across studio and stage settings. Its cherry and balsa shell combines a lightweight core with dense outer layers helping reduce harsh overtones while keeping a full rounded sound. This makes it especially useful when you want depth without excessive ring. You can push the batter head tension higher for a quicker rebound yet still keep that thick mellow character. Its a practical setup if you want articulation without thinning out your tone. Each stroke remains clear and defined helping your playing feel efficient and consistent. Finished with Palladium lugs and a matching strainer tuning stays solid even through longer sessions. Whether youre tracking in the studio or playing live this drum gives you a dependable warm backbeat with plenty of control.
