Denis Wick Flugel Horn Straight Mute All Aluminium
Horns€64.32
Available from Gear4Music at €64.32.
This Denis Wick Straight Flugel Horn Straight Mute is made from hand-spun aluminium. Also suitable for alto trombones it is lightweight and easy to use. Real cork ensures a snug fit inside of the instrument bell. Straight mutes normally reduce the low frequencies and can be shrill however this is not the case thanks to its open design. Denis Wick have produced a durable mute with the "work-hardened" metal being both light and resonant. Incredibly responsive and perfectly in tune in all registers this flugel horn and alto trombone mute provides a full sound while preventing the sharp pitch that can result from an improperly made unit.
