The Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi 2 revives a forgotten fuzz design from the late 70s uncovered and brought back to life decades later. Built around a dual op amp circuit that never originally reached production it delivers a distinct take on the classic Big Muff sound. Expect thick sustain huge gain and a slightly rougher clipping character with crispy highs and booming lows that feel raw and energetic. Housed in a compact nano enclosure the Big Muff Pi 2 keeps the familiar Volume Tone and Sustain controls for easy dialling. True bypass switching ensures your clean tone stays intact while a latching or momentary footswitch lets you unleash quick bursts of fuzz on demand. With artwork by Daniel Danger and unmistakable Big Muff attitude this pedal is a must try for players who want classic Muff flavour with a unique edge.
