The cymbals heavy profile offers massive presence while its shape ensures sublime stick articulation. While the holes dotted around the edge add an interesting aesthetic theyre there for a reason. They provide control for the wash and sustain that larger cymbals generate further augmenting the definition Chris desired from this cymbal. The Rides bell is thick enough to cut through any mix - its hand-hammering gives it warm and earthy tones with plenty of musical punch.
